- Of the two 82 frosts, this one is my choice. It's very crisp and clear
and the vocals are jsut right in the mix. Thanks again to the anon-poris-friends team
for another stellar pull!!!

Tapers Comments:

These 82 Frost shows are also a tapers choice. Taping these shows
with the same three mic mix yielded steller recordings. Unlike the
Greek Theater shows this venue created a much warmer vibe which seems
to come through on these analogs. Being a student at Stanford Jamie
was in his element. I don't recall all of the other tapers who helped
us make these shows but they were great.

Subject: This is an amazing recording

For the last three years, I've been collecting, almost exclusively, the best audiences available, and which I can find in circulation. I had never heard, nor was I aware of the existence of these two recordings (Frost 82.10.09, also) . . . which doesn't mean much. The point is that these folks hit the sweet spot for sure and the recordings are, as noted below, "stellar." As was the mix at both shows. All instruments and vocals present and evenly balanced. These are real gems, and I am so grateful for the efforts of all who made it possible to bring these two recordings into wide circulation. You've made an old(-ish) Head very happy. Get these shows now. Five stars for the recording, because I'm going to love the music anyway . . .
